Jessop's Tavern - Tisch reservieren

eat a lot. we ordered meat, fish and chips, shepards cake and pilger solid. all loved their meals. the cake presentation of the shepard was great. this meal would feed 2 people. both people would be comfortable full of this court alone. all other meal times were equally good and hearty proportional. our group really wanted to try the desserts, but we were all too full. good value for the money. will be back.

the brain cake was a huge bucking kartoffel, swimming in a very dark brown gravy with pieces of chop meat. neither in a restaurant nor at home have I ever seen such a brain cake. it was terrible. fish and chips were hardly better. the fish seemed to be baked and heated before. the chips were quartered kartoffels that were soggy and not very warm

it is recommended for a Thursday, but there are not many local restaurants. Cuisine/Witstaff seemed overwhelmed, but eating was good/very good when it arrived. if they are not a known place, they have confirmed the reservations again, will come back in a quiet night.

We loved this place! The food and service were both excellent. Plus, the historic atmosphere is fantastic! Lastly, the beer list is like no other. We wish that we did not live an hour away, but we plan on coming back as much as we can!
