I tried to visit this restaurant several months ago but arrived just as they were closing. Today, while driving by, we decided to give it a shot, and I'm so glad we did! This place is definitely one of the best taco and burrito spots I've ever been to. The staff was incredibly friendly, and all the food was fresh and, most importantly, delicious. The steak in my taco was tender and juicy, while the shrimp and fish tacos were light and full of flavor. The hard shells were freshly fried and perfectly crispy. I bought tacos and a burrito last min on a delivery app... just becuase its been on my mind to try it out... and tried during the day.. but it was sooo busy i said Id come back becuase the ratings cant be wrong.. (nor the lineup) -Anyway it was awesome and found myself needing to go back.. which I did a number of times right after... Sooo good fresh and Fast... Awesome.. all thumbs up!!!
I ordered vegetarian burrito..taste and quality was lower than burrito places I tried in Barrie like ztec.Price was almost 1.5 times of other burrito places.I vegetarian burrito costs me $18 , normally I can get 10_12 dollars anywhere. I visited this restaurant for the first time, and although it's a bit out of my way, I’ll definitely come back whenever I’m in the area. I got the pulled pork burrito and my friend got the pulled pork tacos both were fantastic, everyone working there was super nice, the guy assembling my burrito should honestly be a competitive burrito maker he is a championI loved the wide selection of options, toppings, drinks etc!
Jey’s is one of Barrie’s hidden gems! The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff is super friendly. I’m a big fan of their burritos and there are options to please everyone. Such a great local business you feel good about supporting!
They definitely know how to get the food right, which keeps me coming back for more! The portions are generous, perfect for someone with a big appetite. While $17 for a burrito isn't the cheapest option, it's definitely worth it.
