As much as I would like to give this place five stars, I have to be honest. The food was too salty and I'm 100% Puerto Rican. I'm sorry Mi Gente but I prefer Jibaritos on Harlem and Coco Loco's Mexican food next door to you guys. You guys at Jibarito Time have great potential just don't pour ALLLLLL the Adobo please and thank you. Also please put your Puerto Rican flag back up, why did you guys take it down? I really wish we had a restaurant like this in California! The food was delicious and made us feel right at home. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. It would have been nice to see a sanitation label on the tables, and it would be even better if they sanitized them thoroughly after each guest. Thank you! We both ordered Jibaritos, and they were incredible! Plus, they're gluten-free, which is great since I have celiac and didn't experience any reactions.
Was working in the area and was EXCITED to see a Jibarito spot close BUT what a disappointment.. I’m 100% boricua to the bone and was so disappointed in the food. i shoulda have read the reviews but i always wanna give my people a chance.. rice EXTREMELY salty, $3.75 for a kola champagne and 20 for a jibarrito that had barely 1 piece of bistec inside. i had more platano than meat.. That’s a shame.. i wish i could give a better review but unfortunately would be my last time
My steak sandwich had one piece of meat in it. It was flavorless. Fries were disappointing. Nothing was flavorful. I also got a drink and paid $22. I rather just spend money on a extra large pizza with 3 toppings than get a small sandwich that didn’t fill me up.

The restaurant is marked as open, but it was actually closed on Tuesday at 6 PM. They really need to update their hours. I called and heard on the answering machine that they will be reopening in October under new management.
The food was excellent, and the portions were quite large. My daughter and I couldn't finish everything! Haha! I really enjoyed it and will definitely order again.
The food here is fantastic, and the staff is very welcoming. They had salsa music playing, which added to the cozy and inviting vibe. I truly love this place!

The staff is welcoming, the food is tasty, the portions are plentiful, and the prices are very reasonable.
The jibarrito, tostones, and mofongo are authentic and truly delicious. The food is outstanding!
