If you are looking for a good carne asada fries place, this is IT! We used to go to Alberto's for their super fries but as of late, they have been disappointing (fries are dry and burnt, and meat is too salty). After finding this gem, we choose Jilbertos over other local taco shops. However, we recently ordered multiple carne asada fries and all the fries in each order were super hard, burnt and dry which is the reason we stopped going to Alberto's in the first place. I think what makes Jilbertos stand out from other places is their freshly made food. If they continue to provide that, I believe they will continue to have returning customers.
The food was fresh, the portions were nice and the people were friendly. The establishment is clean and inviting. I will be a returning customer. They have a salsa bar with pickled carrots and jalapeños. I am so happy I found this place because I had been going to other taco shops in Temecula that just fell short. Wanted to try the El Jefe rolled tacos which is 4 rolled tacos with carne asada, cheese, guacamole, lettuce pico. It was delicious and there was plenty of ingredients on it. Next time I would skip the lettuce. The restaurant was very clean and the service was good. My only knock was that the spicy salsa wasn't that great. It was neither spicy or flavorful. They did have a clean and full salsa bar with carrots and jalapeños. I definitely will be back because their prices and portions are great!
This is a very hole-in-the-wall kind of place, a quick walk from the mall. I got the Al pastor mini tacos with no guacamole and they were really good! The coke in the bottle isn’t Mexican coke though, just normal coke in a glass bottle. The ice cream wasn’t ready when we got there, around 6pm. They have a huuuge burrito that would probably be good for a party. Overall, it was an ok place that had nice people working there!! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
1st time trying this shop. Excellent street tacos, loaded with meat, onions, cilantro and guacamole. Courteous and helpful staff. Nice outdoor seating but they weren't the taco shop's. I asked and they wouldn't clean the tables. Bummer. The tablesmust belong to the center. Highly recommend. We will be back, for sure!
I really like there bacon Breakfast burrito. recently I've ordered there carne asada torta. The food is good! Its really hard for me too find a mexican food in the temecula murrieta area. I grew up in Esco, so this Jilbertos chain of restaurants are from down south.
The fries and nachos both had a lot of meat on them and were great portions for the price! The carne asada was very flavorful!
