I haven't been to this steakhouse in many years. They only serve prime rib on Fridays and Saturdays, but they ran out early on Saturday when I visited. I ended up getting a $45 rib eye steak, which turned out to be a fatty strip steak. The onion rings were frozen and overly fried, with raw breading inside the thicker part. I was served a cold ginger ale and apple juice without straws, and had to ask the bartender for them. The atmosphere hasn't changed in at least 30 years. The service varies depending on the server and their mood that day.
This restaurant is certainly a landmark. While it could use some updating, the steaks were cooked perfectly. Our waitress, Antoinette, was fantastic. We had a great chat with her and learned that she has been working there for a long time. We will definitely be returning, as the prices were also very reasonable.
I came here purely out of curiosity, and I thought I would order a steak to try it out, I didn't have to wait long. The steak turned out to be very tasty, I even ordered another one later.

So, the place has a comfortable and familiar atmosphere. The food is good and sizeable portions, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
