I wish our experience was better than it was. When we arrived at the restaurant, a waitress motioned towards a table. So we went to the table and it was dirty, with crumbs, and a napkin in the chair. She told us nobody sat there, as they just opened. We asked if she would kindly change it. She did, but again had to tell us no one sat there. Our food was just ok, the seafood was overcooked. I wish our experience was better, but we tried to make the best out of it. But disappointed for sure.
Jim Pete's excels at Italian. I first went there for the Chicago style deep dish (forget about that other place), but discovered so much more. The Signature thin crust pizza can't be beat—roasted peppers, artichoke hearts, garlic, fontina. I've also never had a bad entree. Didn't skip the antipasto.
A beautiful and quaint place for a nice dinner. Linguini and clams were the best. Service was a bit slow but not our server's fault look like they were short staffed this evening. I will happily return.
