Ate and drank here almost every night during our holiday, same as we have been doing twice a year for several years now. Good selection of food and drink, and prices very reasonable. Unfortunately, this year I spent 3 days in hospital with an irregular heart beat, and didn't have a chance to thank Jimmy Yvette for their hospitality. I wasn't eating very much this year for some reason, and mostly ordered just a sandwich for my evening meal. So I can't comment on the main meals, but I would recommend the BLT to anyone wanting a snack. Hope to see you again in a year or two (if my wife lets me away on my own), and I'll bring some more home-made black bun with me.
We ate here 3 times in a week. The home cooked advertised dinners really are home made. I saw the potatoes being peeled and cut for our home cooked chips no frozen chips here. We ate lasagna, cottage pie, gammon steak and rump steak (which was the surprise very thick and cooked to a perfect medium). I simply dont know how they do it for the price. If i come back to benidorm, i will be back.
Jimmy’s was just down the road from our hotel and seeing previous Trip Advisor reviews, we thought we’d check it out. Great small bar with football memorabilia everywhere Jimmy has an encyclopaedic knowledge of fine music tunes and might even play you something on his guitar. Just a lot of fun Benidorm is facing tough times but bars like this will see you through.
First class Sunday lunch, €7! Yes €7! Beautiful food, lovely staff, loads of choices of food, we fancied sunday lunch, one beef one pork, fresh veg not frozen, green beans, cabbage, broccoli, carrots, Yorkshire pudding, creamy mash and roasties finished off with a nice stock gravy. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
This is one of those places that when you find it, you always go back to. Jimmy and Yvette are absolutely brilliant, very friendly, the food is top quality and the service is second to none. So relieved to find jimmys open as they are normally on holiday for the 1st week of our holiday. Still by far the best food in Benidorm. Jimmy still his usual happy self despite this virus. Yvette still cooking the best home made food. Well worth a visit and support our Brits!!!! Margaret and Dave from Wigan.
Was recommended this cafe/bar by a family friend and its fantastic. Yvettes breakfast is amazing and set me up both days I was there. Warm, inviting and friendly and the breakfast is top notch!!!! Thanks Yvette
We stumbled across this little Gem of a place as my partner fancied some Lasagna when we went in we were not dissapointed. The staff were friendly and the food was made fresh to order. Would Recommend highly.
Headed into Benidorm for a weekend break and came across Jimmy's Red Lion bar. Really good fun inside and well looked after by Jimmy. Will be back in the future.
