The portions of ramen and noodle dishes are very generous, so you may not need to order one per person. However, meat dishes have smaller portions, so you may want to order extra if you want more meat. They have a sauce station for creating your own sauce mix and a grass jelly pot for dessert. We decided to try this restaurant for the first time on a busy Saturday night. The small Chinese hot pot restaurant was full of customers, so we had to wait a while for a table. The food options were not unlimited, but the final bill ended up being lower than expected. Unlike some restaurants, there was no strict time limit on how long we could stay and eat. We tried three different broth bases, including the spicy Tallow Bear, all served in a single pot divided into three sections. I was particularly impressed by the unique flavor of the Tallow Bear broth, which was spicy yet rich and flavorful once it melted into the broth.
Jiuding Flavor Restaurant is an excellent hot pot restaurant with exceptional service and delicious food. The prices are affordable and provide great value for money, making it an ideal choice for individuals or families. The atmosphere is also very pleasant, making it a great place to dine. I have visited Jiuding Flavor multiple times and have always had the best experience. Definitely the best hot pot place in the bay area. Highly recommended!
SO GOOD!! The broth, veggies, and meats were all so delicious! My favorite was the white soup (Three Fresh Hot Pot Not spicy and really savory! This was my first time trying hotpot and it definitely exceeded my expectations, so yummy! Also the spicy soup base is really really spicy so if your not into spice I recommend not getting it :
This restaurant is not only the cream of the the crop among all hot pot places in the Bay Area, but also the best hot pot place I've ever been to in the US after being on this country for 20 years. If you are in the Bay Area and you are into Chinese hot pot, you can't miss it!
The Sheep and Scorpion hotpot here is better than any other place. The service is good, and it's a great spot for a dinner meal. The price per person ranges from $50 to $100. Recommended dishes include the extreme beef, tomato hotpot, fresh shrimp, and frozen tofu.
The broths are really flavorful, I enjoyed the fresh one and my wife liked the tomato based one. The spicy broth has this weird spice that we didn't like much. The portions are bigger than expected. The service is excellent as well, they quite overdone it.
