Jj Hapgood General Store Eatery

I am a self-proclaimed connoisseur of homemade chocolate chip cookies, and this one is outstanding! We stopped for lunch on our way out of VT, and we are so glad we did. The staff were all so kind. The service was great. We had a lovely lunch outdoors. The homemade honey mustard dressing was SO good! The store inside has unique children's toys as well as kitchen items like jams and sauces. Would also make a great pit stop for a coffee to go and treats. I saw gluten-free items on the shelves like a quinoa chocolate crisp. There is plenty of dedicated parking.

JJ Hapgoods was amazing before the sale and continues to be amazing after! My wife and I stopped in for some breakfast grub on the go, and boy did they deliver. Highly, highly recommend the chorizo and veggie breakfast burritos. Quality ingredients cooked well. Service was kind and quick. Got to chat with the new owner a bit, and I’m excited for all that they’re up to wood fire pizza, back patio and bar area! It’s nice to be able to count on a spot in the area for health juices and high quality grocery items and gifts.

One of the best pizzas I have ever had ? Friendly and attentive staff. We sat on the patio, which is lovely. They have yard games like corn hole available. So glad we stopped here en route to a camping weekend (visiting from Massachusetts).

The newly owned JJ Hapgood may have the best chef in all of Vermont. I just had the most incredible scallops the most beautiful atmosphere. Staff was incredanle!!!

Delicious breakfast! If you are up at Bromley Mountain or just passing though this place is worth a visit.
