Was recommended this little unassuming café by a good friend... We have been looking for somewhere that did waffles for ages! Well... What you get here is so much more! Freshly made waffles, crepes and cakes... More coffee choices than Starbucks, an owner who you can tell, cares so much about her products... And above all an atmosphere of friendship and good food! I can't say much more, but this place is definitely a hidden gem in Gloucester and deserves to soar to great heights! We are just off for another breakfast now with more friends!
Hi this is a really nice place. The service is fantastic and the owner lady is so nice Kaktarzyma. Def worth a visit for a nice unusual cake. Carry on down the road from Boots on the left Eastgate St past the opticians and just before the leisure centre. Says Polska Cuchnia or something above the door. Highly recommended as something different not a chain authentic Polish. Wish they would expand to do Polish food for lunch and in the evenings! I think they also do cakes for celebratory occasions. xxxx
This small cafe may not catch your eye from the outside, but the food inside is truly exceptional! We have been searching for a place like this for a long time... delicious and affordable paninis, incredibly tasty waffles and pancakes! And let's not forget the excellent coffee and frappuccino! However, the standout feature of this cafe is the owner - she is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that her customers are happy! She even treated us to complimentary cakes!
When I need a sandwich I go here! Its so fresh, the salad is beautiful. I don't know how she does it for the money. My cheese salad sandwich is always packed! Jo is also very friendly and the café has just had a bit of a make over. Ideal if you need somewhere after a visit to GL1.

I've tried this restaurant during Eat Out to Help Out scheme. The food is absolutely delicious, the owners are very friendly. It was great food experience for whole family Folk Bistro is a hidden gem in Gloucester. Highly recommended!
Visited the Cafe to purchase some cakes because of the high reviews on Trip Advisor and I was delighted with what I found. Fantastic homemade cakes and great prices. Would recommend highly.
The coffee is delicious and the sweet treats are even better at this restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly and warm, with quick service and good value for money.
Lovely service nice prices and great food. Well worth a stop off. Flavoured coffee was unusual but very nice and the fresh cooked panini was very tasty.

Don't be put off by the slightly odd looking exterior. This place is fantastic. Brilliant home made food, lovely owner, very well priced.
This small restaurant offers delicious waffles and tasty cakes. I highly recommend trying it out.
