To start with this is a cafe not a restaurant. So they specialise in lots of different sandwiches. They also serve jacket potatoes and soup, plus cakes. I have been twice now in the last couple of weeks and both times the food and the staff have been great. Today I was with two other people (one who is a very fussy eater), we all ordered different meals and we were all really happy with what we had. They cater for meat and fish eaters as well as veggie and vegan people as well. I don't think that they serve GF bread but they do a good selection of jackets so no problem there. Having read good reviews of this place we decided to call in for a sandwich when we visited Padstow, it is tucked away up one of the streets from the harbour area so a little quieter than the mad tourist areas. Not much seating, only one table and a window seat, but they were happy for us to sit there. Really lovely ladies serving, delicious prawn sandwich, plenty of locals popping in and out which is always a good sign! 10/10.
I stopped by this restaurant for a crab sandwich. The staff was polite and welcoming. I opted for the specialty crab sandwich. While it was on the pricier side for a crab sandwich, it was delicious. I would have preferred a higher filling to bread ratio, but overall, it was a tasty choice.
We stopped unplanned and so glad we did. The homemade soup was delicious and more than reasonably priced. The owner was cheerful, and entertaining. I would definitely recommend a visit for a lunch break.

If you were hoping to try the crab sandwiches at this restaurant, I'm sorry to inform you that it closed in November and has now transformed into a candy store.
Jo and all of the staff at the restaurant provide a warm welcome. The food is of excellent quality and delicious. I highly recommend this place!
Lovely selection to choose from. Had a egg and sausage bap egg cooked to perfection and lovely quality sausages. Will 100% return.
Fabulous food! I had the scotch egg £3), carrot cake £2) and a baguette £4.25). All we're delicious and very reasonably priced.

Had a bacon bap and coffee nice and reasonably priced. However sausage bap was awful cheap tasteless sausage so threw away.
Generous crab filling in a delicious sandwich. Made the holiday,! All freshly made and reasonably priced for a treat!
