If you're in search of exceptional Italian cuisine, Joanina is truly Huntington's best-kept secret. The decor makes you feel as though you're dining in Tuscany, Italy. The incredibly friendly service, welcoming atmosphere, and overall experience have us eagerly recommending it to our family and friends, and we find ourselves returning again and again! Theresa, Donato, Joe the Bartender, and the entire staff do a fantastic job of making you feel like part of the family. Bravo, Joanina! Che buono!
I have been coming to Joanina for something like 20 years now and the reason for that is that it is simply the best…the food, the service, the ambience. It is authentic and it is excellent, and I have never had a disappointing meal there. It is especially wonderful for special occasions. Parking: The parking lot is a bit tight, but there are adjoining business lots that are easily accessible after business hours in the evening.
We hosted a rehearsal dinner for 40 people. Everyone loved the food and staff. The atmosphere is very authentic. The owner delivered exactly what he promised. We will be using this wonderful restaurant for all special occasions in Long Island and for dinners.Thank you all again! Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free pasta and special made salmon. ?
Had a beautiful experience we were a family gathering of 5 from the appetizers to the dessert the presentation was perfection. Service was over the top with a friendly wait staff. I was invited to a private party. So, my typical reviews can not be forthcoming.Classic Italian food presented in a befitting setting. The wait staff were attentive and performed their duties expediently.I would like to return to dine under more normal circumstances, and include some pictures.
Food was great. I had the veal and it was really good. And being a former pizziaola I was impressed with the guy making the pie. He was a Nablidanese which are the best pizza men. He knew his craft. Will definitely come back. P.S. the Speck appetizer was Tipio Qualita!
Because of medical issues we cannot go to restaurants but on Christmas eve we wanted a nice meal, so we called Joanina who was very accommodating. Two meals we ordered were actually both great. We will certainly do business with them in the future!

We were a group of eight, and everyone absolutely loved their meals. The wine was excellent, and the service was friendly. This place is a must-visit for Italian cuisine!
