For lunch to continue my search for the best Stromboli in the city. I was excited after talking to many people who said Joey was the best, it was okay, middle of the pack. Got the stromboli with sausage, meatballs and mushrooms. The crust was good, the sauce was really good, the meatballs and the sausage were cut to the same thickness and we are about the same diameter, so it was hard to measure what was. The mushrooms, while fresh, were cut really thick, so they were essentially raw what I wasn't a big fan. The Stromboli was also quite thin until the peats go. All in all, I will probably go back and try their pizza, but there are too many better Strombolis out there to go back for it.
Boy they've changed since covid. The food was excellent we would order there at least once a week. The employees mess up orders, they loose orders and ignore you when you go into the restaurant to pick up an order. The last two times we ordered the linguine with white clam sauce, the amount of clams was ridiculous, very small amount with lots and lots of garlic. The lasagna had been enough to feed two people at home and now, the size is not large enough and very, very salty. We went back a second time because it was such a great place and keep hoping it will return. Lots and lots of these same comments on NextDoor which is local. Sorry, I loved your food and it's not worth it now.
A week ago I ordered a Medium pizza, which was very undercooked, each veggie topping was $2 extraThe middle was soupy! I was quite surprised ?In addition they are nickel n diming everything. They charged me $3.00 for extra sauce for the calamari I ordered. $3.00 delivery charge, which they did not mention and I gave the driver $5 more.It's not about the money, per se, but the quality certainly did not warrant my bill as below. Total $37!!! ? I just thought people should know they are being charged for delivery and anything additional...Apparently something is not right after reading other recent reviews. ?

Excellent Service!! Thank you Christian! I started with Joey's Caesar salad. I throughly enjoyed. The romaine was dark green and no signs of wilting and brown spots. The rolls, that come with entrees, were good. I would like my rolls with more garlic and oil. Joeys has a hint of garlic, fresh parm and olive oil. My entree was the chicken piccata without pasta. Instead sautéed spinach with olive oil and garlic. It was excellent!!
The absolute best!! This pizza is addicting! I'm pregnant right now and I woke up wanting their food so badly! My hubby sent me some and it's always delivered HOT and fresh! We've eaten at the restaurant inside as well, the service is great! Our favorite pizza place!
Used to dine our favorite place. Recommended often. A few more last night. Welcomed outside with dead plants in pots. Service slow. Waitresses seemed to gather at check-in. We've been waiting for our ducks for a long time. Very disappointed. What happened?

big pizza and wing! pick up for a party and eating was a hit! the order was simple and ready when we arrived. drive half an hour only to try it and will definitely be back!
