Last week, I enjoyed the Mowie Wowie Burger with fries, and today I went for the Attack Burger with Tater Tots. Both were delicious and far more than I could finish in one sitting—these portions are generous, to say the least. Both burgers were quite large, and today's burger came piled high with bacon. The food comes out quickly too, so you won’t be waiting long. I also found it amusing that most of the regulars were drinking Bud Light, Bud, or Coors, and playing Keno with an intensity as if it were the last day to do so. The fried bacon Mac and cheese balls were quite enjoyable, featuring a delightful texture. The stuffed quahogs, on the other hand, were exceptional, boasting a nearly creamy consistency that set them apart from the typical versions that just taste like Pepperidge Farm stuffing in a shell. The Kickin' Crab soup was tasty, though I felt it could have used a bit more flavor. However, our main courses were absolutely wonderful! The broiled scallops paired with homemade mashed potatoes were truly to die for—perfectly tender scallops alongside skin-on, creamy mashed potatoes. We will definitely be returning!
This restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and is a wonderful place to dine. I've been here twice. During my visit, I ordered a dish that I thought was the same as the one I had previously enjoyed, but it turned out to be different. When the waitress came to check on us, I mentioned that it wasn't what I had expected. I acknowledged it was my mistake for not paying closer attention. However, she graciously offered me a different meal, and I decided to try the cheese pizza, which was delicious. This establishment truly values its customers, and the waitress was very professional. The service was frustrating. We were seated in the dining room, and the waitress took ages to attend to us, often appearing irritated. We sat with empty drinks for 15 minutes while waiting over 50 minutes for our pizza, which arrived with the cheese already congealed, indicating it had been sitting around for a while. This wonderful dive bar offers delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere. The waitstaff were amazing and very welcoming. It's the perfect spot to enjoy some food and drinks while catching a game. There are so many wing flavors to choose from, and it was a shame I only got to sample two of them. The fish tacos were fresh and packed with flavor, easily some of the best I've ever had. I can't wait to return!
Great place! I found this restaurant based on its Yelp ratings and reviews, and it did not disappoint. The fish and chips were excellent and cooked to perfection. The decor had a fun and unique seaside vibe. Our waitress, Ashley, provided fantastic service. Plus, there was a beautiful Chevelle parked out front.
Parking: There are plenty of spaces available for customers, with convenient on-site parking that’s just a short walk to the entrance. Food Rating: 5 out of 5.
