Johnny's Italian Steakhouse

Went on a Monday night with reservations, wasn't too busy. Loved this location compared to the other Johnny's around the city. Always love looking at the pictures and art they have on the walls to fit the theme. Atmosphere was good for a date night with slightly dark lighting. Food was also very good. Our waitress did an amazing job handling us that evening.We started off with The Little Italy Combination, recommended the half serving for only two people. It was delicious and good choice if you want a variety appetizer.For our main meals we had the Char-broiled Ribeye with Lobster Mac and Cheese, which I thought tasted flavorful, cooked to my liking. Went to Johnny's for an early Valentines dinner. My wife had a very over cooked lobster, but she still ate it. My steak however was ordered medium and came to me **** rare. The server apologized and asked if I wanted to take it back to get fixed. I paid 35 dollars for a steak not to be fixed, but to get it right. I doubt I will come back, if ever. I will try other steakhouses in town. TRH never cooked a bad steak and the price is half. My dogs enjoyed what was left.

very nice casual and comfortable atmosphere, but with a raised and varied menu that will please everyone. my wife had the steak with stuffed garnel while I had the filet with crabcake upstairs. the meat yarn of my wife was a bit hard, but my steak was perfectly cooked and the risotto was excellent. the drinks were great and not too expensive and our waiter was very helpful. we'll be back soon!

From the host stand, even though they lost our reservation, we were seated immediately, to our server Jenna, everything was absolutely perfect for our Valentine's Day dinner!! Jenna was not only gratuitous but steered us in the right direction of our food selection based on what we both liked!! Thanks Johnny's Italian Steakhouse! We will definitely be back soon! my fiancée and I had a great experience. we have our eating fast and our waiter was wonderful! he was fast, attentive and funny. that was delicious. my fiancée had a burger and it was boiled right. I had pasta and a side salad. both were delicious. the only complain we have is how cold the restaurant was. overall it is a fabulous day at night place.

with another couple.. this place is intimate, I love it. our appetizers were amazing! we have the sampler plate. then each of our meal was before place, delicious! steaks all cooked for perfection. will return definitiw. service was super!

Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse has a few locations in the Des Moines metro area. All are typically very good. Food and drinks are good, service is usually good. I have not tried anything here that I did not like.

Went here for date night. Thankfully were able to get a reservation on valentine's day weekend. Everything we ordered was spectacular, especially the banana cheesecake! The staff here is amazing as well. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
