Came across this place by chance. Luckily for us they had both our favourite meals, faggots and liver onions!!!!! Food was excellent. Freshly cooked and hot together with an added jug of hot gravy. Staff were very efficient, worked well together and very professional. Tables were cleared and cleaned as soon as they were vacated which meant the place always looked clean and tidy. It was a very busy day but all the staff handled it well. Would highly recommend this place.
Sat outside with our lovely weather we are having. Lovely warm welcome. Had the small breakfast and asked for a few changes which they accommodated easily, hubby had G/F breakfast which wasn’t a problem. All cooked to our liking and one of those rare things everything was absolutely hot delicious. Best hot chocolate too Highly recommend,
First class service and food. looking forward to full breakfast and John's did not disappoint, all cooked to perfection, lovely thick white toasted bread served on side plate, tinned toms beans served in small pots, a great idea to avoid spreading across plate. will definitely be back, won't waste time looking anywhere else! Well done.
Lovely cafe. Had the steak and ale pie with chips, peas and gravy. My daughter had chicken strips, chips and curry sauce. Everything was great. Good size portions, definitely fill you up. Sat outside and the sun was shining. Also good table service. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The best Welsh cakes! Stopped by chance after a day at the beach for coffee and cake. Lovely venue and plenty of seating. Ordered 1 latte, 1 milkshake and 2 Welsh cakes at a very reasonable cost of £8.50. Will be returning.
Fantastic breakfast and really friendly staff, was very clean and tidy. Chopped tomatoes and beans come in separate pots which is great for people like my daughter who don't like things touching each other
We make Regular visits. Always friendly, clean and value for money. The owner always makes time for a quick chat. Makes you feel valued as a customer. The Welshcakes are great.

"Popped in at 2.15 pm on a quiet Friday- asked very unfriendly landlady if we could play darts- she refused saying it is only for darts team to use and that tables were booked. Only table used was no where near the dart board."
