I had driven out to John’s for panelle sandwiches in the past and they were excellent. So today I drove the 20 minutes to get panelle after placing an order over the phone for a dinner party we were attending.Upon an arrival, I was told they were all of a sudden out of panelle even though I had called two hours prior to place the order for pickup at 5 pm.I didn’t receive a call back letting me know that they were out and was only told when I got there. 40 minute round trip and a waste of time because we still needed to get something for our dinner party.All that was needed was the common decency to call and stop me from making an unnecessary trip.Will never be coming back.
This used to be Richmond Pizzeria, so I stopped by hoping to grab a slice. They did have pizza, so I ordered one slice and a soda for a total of $5.50. I get that pizza can be $3 a slice, but charging $2.50 for a bottle of soda? That's outrageous! To make matters worse, the pizza was the worst, most bland, and flavorless I've had on Staten Island—it was simply disgusting. Trust me, they won't last long with these prices. This is Staten Island, not Manhattan!
I honestly think this so called deli isnt that good they have one shelf of chips and only serve pizza and bagels, ect they dont have any candy, slushies or other things a deli would have it's basically a mini restaurant which isn't all bad hut I don't think it should be called a deli! They do have drinks like soda as well though!
I traveled from Jersey specifically for the roast beef with black gravy, and it did not disappoint! The sandwich was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back for more!

Their roast beef hero with gravy, cheese and onions is absolutely the best hero I have ever eaten, that gravy is crazy tasty
