I've been coming to the oyster bar for a long time but I had such an excellent meal last week I figured I'd finally leave a review. We started with the shrimp ceviche, which is served in a pico format and had shrimp in every bite. So yummy. For entrees, we had the etouffee (nice and spicy, and the crawfish were huge thanks to earlier summer harvests I guess) and the sesame crusted tuna (the house sauces that come with are next level). Waitress was friendly and hands off. Playlist was so bad we couldn't stop laughing about it (switched from Drake to Oasis to Train to Taylor Swift) but all in good fun. Replace the recession pop with some surf-soul-funk rock and atmosphere can have 5 stars too.
We enjoyed Jonah’s as a group of 6, and the food was fabulous. Courtland, our server, was amazing, and his dedication to his tables and guests is second to none. Visit Jonah’s, ask for Courtland, and prepare for a dining experience that is unparalleled in Central Illinois. Thank you, Jonah’s, and Courtland. You hit it out of the park!
First time at Jonas seafood I was kind of disappointed. I had the tuna and I thought it was pretty good on the other hand. My wife had was not very good. We wound up switching. I have read many good reviews here. I just found another place. That was a little better. And they serve excellent fish.
I ordered the salmon and it was absolutely awful! Way too fishy. The tuna appetizer tasted like canned tuna! What is up with that. 0/10 do not recommend our waitress was the sweetest tho love her Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is the only place my boyfriend will eat seafood. We get the bang bang shrimp, crab rangoon, lobster and steak. If we get cake we share it since the pieces are big.
Amazing restaurant, amazing service, amazing food! Clam chowder and jambalaya were amazing and gluten free. I was so happy!
