Great experience for my son and I at Jonathan’s! After a long day at the lake we were looking for somewhere to get a good steak dinner. We heard great things about Jonathan’s and we wanted to check it out. We were in more casual attire so we weren’t sure whether to go in or not, but they were so welcoming. They were so accommodating and even offered to make my son something more kid friendly, but we both wanted to try the filet. What a gem in the Back Mountain! My husband and I frequently go to Jonathan’s and have never been disappointed. The food and drinks are outstanding, and they have the most delicious specials. The tuna tartare special is by far the best around (I often get a double order as my entrée)! The staff are always so kind and accommodating and take the time to make sure everyone is enjoying their dining experience. The atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting. Jonathans is a great spot for a casual dinner after a day on the dock, but it also has the right vibe for more special occasions. I went with a friend to have dinner and I ordered the Bang Bang Chicken. It was a bang bang all right that it put me in the hospital. The food was obviously contaminated. Never again will I go their to eat and if you are a person of color I suggest you don’t go either. And yes I do have the correct restaurant 31 lakeside drive and please don’t delete this review like you have done in the past with other bad reviews. I will keep checking to make sure this post stays up and if you take it down I will put it back up. Posting again

Had the pork chop for dinner and we were very disappointed because it had a very strong charbroiled flavor which over power the chop flavor, but was very juicy and tender. I would not order it again. Absolutely fantastic meal this evening at Jonathan's. We loved the blueberry soup , pear and brie Flatbread, beet salad, tuna stack. One of the tastiest moist perfectly prepared pork chops we have ever tasted. Rarely do we rate five stars , however this restaurant is perfection. We can't wait to return !
