You can either park on the street or park in the back. What I love about this place is it's old world charm. This place is quaint. There is a wrap around porch that has outdoor seating. Also, on the other side of the building where you check in is outdoor seating on a patio which is very dog friendly. I must've pet seven different breeds of dogs. I called on a busy Saturday night to make a last-minute reservation for a celebration the following day. Unfortunately, I had just been rudely scolded by the owner of another local restaurant for bothering them on such a hectic evening before St. Patrick's Day. I couldn’t believe it—why even answer the phone if you're not open to calls? As it turned out, my husband had already made a reservation at that place, which I didn’t know at the time. Milford is a fascinating town. Old timers. Millennial shop keepers. Families. And now unfortunately some 2nd amendment Trumpers, one of whom owns the fancier restaurants in town with seemingly overpriced and pretentious food. Instead we went to the incredibly busy Dimmicks Inn (even on a Tuesday night and received ample portions of delicious food for an incredibly reasonable price. We wanted the lamb but we we're in a hurry, so we ordered these dishes below. I’ve passed by this restaurant countless times over the past 30 years without ever stopping in, but I’ve now visited three times in the last three weeks. The service is exceptional, and the rustic decor creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Each of the three dinners I’ve had was fantastic, from the fried goat cheese salad to the chicken Milanese, salmon, and grilled tuna—all beautifully prepared and presented. I had a nice time here. It was spontaneous. The food was very good. The service and All workers is what pushed this to a 4 star. Everyone had a great attitude, was happy to have customers and did their job with a smile on their face. It's been a long time since I had a group of workers that were all happy. As soon as my drink needed a refill, the server was there like she had a secret camera. I ordered a burger. It was very good and cooked medium rare, as I ordered it. The burger was bigger than the bun. The fries were a little weak. They were soggy. I will come back.
The place was busy but our server and other servers worked as a team and were attentive. It's my first time here and I wanted to go here for a while. The place is so cozy and inviting. It's family friendly and I love the crowd. It's spacious. The food was absolutely delicious and fair for the price. I'll definitely be going back!
