To start, we were presented with a delicious snack of Croustade with Hafod cheddar, alliums, Japanese milkbread, and roasted garlic miso butter. The 10 courses that followed included a variety of dishes featuring fermented, cured fish, vegetables, and meats, all expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The standout dish for us was the Iberico pork, 'Imperial Kaigun Karē, which may have been the best pork dish we've ever tasted.
Overall, dining at this restaurant is a fine dining experience in a unique setting. Even for those new to upscale dining, the 5-course menu is reasonably priced. While they are already listed in the Michelin Guide, we believe they are deserving of a Michelin star...
