I had lunch at this restaurant with some friends. The front section functions as a bakery and deli, while the dining area is situated in the back. We ordered tacos, a burrito, a cemita, and quesadillas, and everything was wonderfully seasoned and freshly prepared. I highly recommend pairing your meal with some horchata, just as we did. Overall, this place is a genuinely authentic Mexican restaurant with generous portions! I will definitely be coming back.
I discover this hidden gem a few months ago and have since visited a bunch of times. It’s become my to go place for authentic Mexican tacos and sopas. Everything they make is delicious and tastes as if made by someone’s grandma. This last time, had their pork pozole …. It’s probably the best one I’ve had in NYC. Josefina's is home to my favorite panza negra tacos. I've had all of their tacos. My wife likes their pollo and al pastor tacos. Their lengua and panza blanco tacos are very good, but I always have their panza negra tacos. There are only a few places in NYCthat offer panza negra tacos, so I always come here when I visit NYC.

The chorizo tacos were incredibly tasty and packed with flavor. The salsa verde had the perfect level of spice. However, I found the agua de Jamaica to be a bit too sweet for my liking. I ended up diluting it with water. I would definitely come back to order from here again.
I visited this restaurant with my family a week ago. It was clean and pleasant, though the space is a bit small. The food was tasty and delicious, with everything cooked perfectly and served fairly quickly, in my opinion. Overall, I had a great experience dining here.
