We went to Josephine, a restaurant in our neighborhood, to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We started with the seafood platter, which had a great variety of seafood. I ordered the lobster risotto, which had a good portion size, lots of lobster, and was very tasty. The mussels, salmon tartare, and wild sea bass were also excellent. The service was great as well - very friendly staff.
Great food, very nice decor and ambiance. Food is very nice and the special are great making the choice hard to make, the dessert was awesome, the special drink was well made. The beer menus is small but it a good selection. Wine list is great and the help for the pairing was appreciated. Will go again for there terrace this summer!!!
Highly recommend this restaurant. The food is wonderful and the space is bright and decorated beautifully.We loved the grilled oyster mushrooms--so good! Both the lobster risotto and the moules frites were amazing. Nothing but praises for this menu.

Best meal I had during my week in Montreal. Modern French cuisine done superbly. The shrimp cocktail was perfectly cooked. Loved the trout crudo and the Icelandic cod was by far the best entree. Solid desserts as well. Don?t miss this spot!
My favorite dinner thus far in Montreal! The staff was extremely nice, and the food was all delicious. I had the octopus to start, followed by the Risotto. So impressed with this meal. Would definitely recommend
Been waiting to try this place for awhile. Finally got to try it late last night. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Would like to visit one day and check out the terrace.

Right across the street from where we stayed, Josephine was great for an apero, a glass of wine, a Caesar cocktail and oysters.
