UPDATE: Joy of Thai will close for about a month or so starting about October 27. No, they are not going out of business. The owner will travel to their native country to tend to family matters. I hope things go well with them and the family. I offered to do the cooking while they were away. She didn’t take me up on my offer. Oh well...their loss. I had a bright idea of ordering a few items and keep them in the freezer. This should tide me over while they are away. I hope they have a safe trip and return quickly. I hope this restaurant never goes out of business! I have lived in the Mokena area for most of my life, and this restaurant is the best in the area. Their fried rice is amazing, and the basil chicken and mini spring rolls are fantastic every time I go. Even my boyfriend enjoyed everything! The staff is also very friendly.
Fantastic, fresh Thai. Joy of Thai is definitely the best Thai restaurant in the area! The Glass Noodle Soup and Baby Chicken Egg Rolls are our favorites, but everything we've tried is fresh delicious. They take all covid-19 precautions for carry-out care about their customers. Highly recommended!

This place has the best Thai in the southwest suburbs hands down! Authentic, decent pricing and always very friendly and courteous!! Highly recommend! The food is outstanding and the quality is top! Will be frequenting this spot!
This Thai restaurant is easily our favorite. We decided to order from them for Christmas Eve, and our whole family, including the kids, absolutely loved it. We will definitely continue to be loyal customers!
