Muscles and Oysters are famous in the area. So we decided to stop by this restaurant as it was usually busy every time we walked by. It is primarily outdoor seating, with an awning or umbrella for cover. The inside of the store looked like a seafood shop at a marketplace. It feels very much like they primarily specialize in selling raw seafood but have the ability to cook it on premise for eager diners.I decided to go for the French classic: Moules Marinières - muscles in cream sauce. It arrived in quite a large bucket. It didn't come with bread to soak up all the lovely cream sauce, but with a bucket of fries which was rather unusual, but wasn't terrible at all. There is a bread shop nearby...
Had a lovely afternoon meal with some friends where I had a very nice bowl of mussels with cream washed down with a lovely bottle of Sancerre wine. The service was top notch as was the freshness of the seafood.
