We went here on a Friday and the restaurant was busy with locals. Good choice of dishes (see photo) we chose sopa rinconera which was fish soup with whitebait, mussels and clams and sopa castellana, a ham and bread soup with a poached egg. Both very good, just one sip and you could tell that the stocks were well made. For mains we had breaded codling with chips and fried hake with salad and finally to finish fresh fruit salad. (other options were chocolate mousse, flan, rice pudding) Clearly there is an excellent cook working away in the kitchen. This restaurant knows what its customers want quality food, good service and value for money its delivers all of these. A recipe for success! Well...
After a while I have returned to the restaurant and it was embarrassing. This time we have ordered two menus to take away and there was more packaging than food... we are hungrier now than when we started eating. Price rise, quality drop and quantity of food. For the price, we really feel cheated. We won't be back, it's a shame.
Very friendly staff We eat very well and for more than reasonable prices. We go there regularly during our holidays in Rico. The menu is varied and changes daily. I recommend that you go and have a look, you will not be disappointed.
