Had lunch here and got the Sugared Pecan Salad and LOVED it! It included a hefty portion of all the ingredients chicken was great, lots of avocado, and a great combo of salt/fat/acid/sweet. The mini donuts were a very pleasant surprise for a pre lunch treat. Service was quick but just OK.
They need to change the blinds! They look like prison bars. They also need to add lights near the front windows so the place looks OPEN. Also clearly post the hours of operation. If you close at 2pm then you close the kitchen at 2pm, not at 1pm. MAYBE THE NEW OWNERS WILL MAKE CHANGES.
What a great, top tier, little gem. My only disappointment is that I did not try it sooner. Food was very tasty, the portions were spot on. And I was blown away by how friendly and accommodating the staff was when I walked in. Will definitely be back, and often. Highly recommend.
I forgot to take a photo of my food, but I tried the Catfish Grits and it was sooooo good. I stopped in with my family for my cousins birthday. She loves the place and now I see why. I’ll definitely be back! The portion size was amazing and my waiter was really nice. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Advertise donuts and had no donuts when we visited. Also Advertise $10-20 but they had a 2 egg with potatoes and toast for $10 everything else was at least $12-20 potatoes were dry and toast was not buttered and hard. Very disappointed
Great place for breakfast in Downers Grove! Good atmosphere, great service, and free signature donuts when you sit down. Large menu, great portions, and sat right down on a Sat morning...just big enough. Definitely try this place!
First off, you get mini donuts complimentary at your table! Portions are generous and the food is delicious. The pancakes are good and you should try their juices.

Great food. Friendly waiter. Great atmosphere. They have funny quotes hanging on the walls. This place is a hit.
