A group of 6 of us came in for drinks one evening. We were seated quickly at the back away from everyone else and ordered bulldogs.After 20 minutes and our drinks still hadn't came they explained that the ice machine was broken, which is why they hadn't brought the drinks yet, and then they arrived 2 minutes later.It would have been better if they had explained sooner, as we could've changed our orders. It took way too long to tell us that. We had one drink and left.
I love the Mexican food here. Especially the margaritas. The 1 oz doesn't quite do the trick so I'd recommend the 2 oz drink. Drink prices are a bit pricey but you can save money on food by sharing things like the fajitas. In fact, between 3 of us we have 1 order of fajitas with 1 extra meat added and it was more than enough. They gave us free extra shells too. Great restaurant. Also, they make their salsa in-house and it's very good.
It's a fun place to eat and the patio is good for people-watching in the summer (except for the awful chairs, ow).! The food is decent but as others have said, you can find better Mexican food in the city. A solid and reliable choice for food on Whyte Ave, but never a meal worthy of raving about. Some good drinks options. I find the prices a bit high, but it can be justified for a bit of fun.
Rode our bikes from downtown and stopped in for some much needed fuel! Margaritas where great and the fish tacos where excellent. We sat at the bar but the out door patio on a sunny day would be the place to be. Great Mexican Resraunt. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Excellent shared lunch, amazing staff, great atmosphere on Whyte Avenue. Fun place with lots of people watching to go along with the meal. Meal sizes are substantial and three of us didn't manage to finish two shared dishes.
