Incredible food, incredible service. I will always come back here as long as this restaurant is in business whenever I visit this area again. The food was exceptional! The specials menu changes regularly which makes it even more special to me to know they source local produce. The flavours in every dish we ordered, were prepared with so much understanding and love for food from all around the world. This place deserves a Michelin Bib recommendation. No fault to anything here. Service was incredible. Super friendly staff who I felt super warmth from (could be because they are family owned? I’m unsure). Please visit here if you want to go out for dinner.
Excellent food with great service. Small restaurant but definitely the best I have been to in Grasmere and it is many years since I have enjoyed a meal as much anywhere in the Lake District. We had the special starters. Crostini were wonderful and the starter portion tortelloni was excellent. My wife had hake which was perfectly cooked and I had the lamb which was great. And both were decent sized portions (unlike so many so called fancy restaurants). No hesitation in recommending.
If you're in the area you need to go here!! We went twice during our stay it was so good. Food is amazing as are the staff! Shout out to Dylan (hope I'm spelling that correctly) what a credit to the team! You can tell they all really love what they do. Good selection of drinks and don't skip on the dessert, also amazing!! Fabulous restaurant! Visited for my birthday last night. Warm welcome, served by a lovely passionate lady who knew the menu so well! The food was delicious. The special cocktail was excellent too. The best food I have had!! We had the cod for starters, 10/10. Stew for main so tasty and the bombalinos (mini doughnuts filled with biscoff) for dessert, they are the best things I’ve ever tasted!! great whisky selection. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60
