I had been wanting to try this hidden restaurant for dinner for quite some time, so I went with my family last night. We were seated immediately and the service was attentive. The chicken karaage is a must-try! The yakitori and other grilled skewer items had a delicious charred taste. However, you may need to be patient as the food takes some time to be prepared. While the food was good, I found the prices to be a bit high given the decor of the restaurant. I recommend that they consider updating the interior for a better overall experience.
This restaurant on Hay Street in the CBD is a hidden gem. The waitstaff are very friendly and polite. The highlight of the menu is the tasty spicy karaage. It is perfectly battered, with a hint of spice and not greasy at all. The portions are also very generous. If you decide to have lunch here, be prepared for a food coma afterwards.
Love this place! When I first stepped in I fell in love with the setting, it’s so unapologetically Japanese with the sliding like doors and the seating arrangements. Though the area is quite small, food definitely delivers! Very delicious and tasty options offered though a con is that your clothes may smell of food when oh leave
Tried the ramen which was one of the lunch specials at this place. Very tasty broth, had a nice spicy kick to it and the noodles were al dente. Portion size was slightly on the small side. Entering Jun is like stepping into an authentic Izakaya in Japan. I have been a loyal customer for as long as I can remember and each time I leave, I am delighted. The small business scene in Perth is lucky to have a gem like Jun.
Authentic! Tasty! Stylish! but not cheap as well. This place offer you the real in-Japan dinning experience in Perth city. A little hard to find, but if you love Japanese food, you definitely known this place already.
Love this place, highly recommended, i don't eat Japanese foods that much but girlfriend said it's really good so ahaha, service was excellent, food really nice especially the takoyaki, best i ever eaten)

The food was delicious, fresh and very reasonably priced. Service was friendly. We were excited to see the famous high chairs in the entrance.
