Found this gem on our walk along Notre Dame East. It is very rare to find a Filipino restaurant in the city so we decided to come back and give it a try.The menu is kept very simple which is a good idea. We had the lechon kawali (roast pork chunks refrigerator to crisp), the pinakbet (mixed veggies of okra, squash, green beans, and eggplant), the mango salad, and the bangus (milkfish). All the dishes were delicious and well presented. If there is one thing I can suggest, maybe a little less tomato sauce to the pinakbet and a bit more eggplant. The cassava cake at the end of the meal finished off our meal with a even more positive note. Will certainly be back for more.
We had high hopes for this Filipino restaurant but we were highly disappointed . Everybody at the table didn't really like their meals. The fried chicken/ waffle is one the worst I ever had. Chicken was tasteless and the waffle were not much better. The 2 traditional meals ordered ( sausage and a pulled porc-ish meal ) were flavourless. The ambiance is good and there is a DJ on site making it a lively place. The service was horrific. The coffee awful. SKIP this place .
This place has a fairly good food selection; we ordered pancit (one vegetarian and one with chicken), adobong baboy, and bangus. The pancit and adobo were okay, but the bangus was worth the visit. You should really have the turon for dessert; they place pieces of langka with the plantain, which gives the turon that extra sweetness

Highly recommend if you are looking for a change from regular brunch fayre. Decor is quirky . There are a few picnic tables at the back if weather is good . Price was very reasonable at most dishes on brunch menu around $15,00
I ordered the Junior Bee Meal. The spaghetti was okay but the chicken was rock hard and tasted like it was fried on cooking oil that has been reused many times.
The food was ok, but mostly flavorless without sauce. If it were less expensive it would have been alright, but for the price there are much better restaurants.

I would have given it 5 but the chicken was pretty dry. they should soeci its fried chicken breast.
Good portion and tasty food. Junior bee meal has to be one of my favourit there!
