All steamed CB's are good here in CT. But only a few are great. Lemay's are good. The roll is just a roll, meat is meat, the cheese is good but sparse (should be rolling off on to the plate) and in the tradition of one of the originals, Ted's, it should be on a buttered roll. No matter how bombed Ted was, every one got butter and a splash of hamburger juice. I could make the equivalent of lemay's at home on the stove with a pan of water and a grate. For $9.50 I expected a unique roll and lots of cheese. In today's dinning times, that's the price anywhere you go. It is still good but most younger people don't have anything to compare it to.
The staff was super friendly but I think the portions on the fries are pathetic. The burger looks great and was delicious. There's got to be value in the whole meal. I know this place specializes in the steamEd burgers That's why I gave it three stars instead of two. Please give figure portions of the french fries my complaints will be over haha cheers
Ken has done a great job with this place. Adding the dining area was genius. The Wisconsin Cheese should come with a warning label, Absolute Sharp to perfection . Top it off with an order of wedges and you are good to go!
love their steamed cheeseburgers definitely more of a fan with their portion sizes compared to teds. anytime i'm around i try to swing by. staff are always friendly. lots of local foxon park soda options too Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Personally don't think it's worth the expensive money. My burger was not fully cooked and still red and found a strain of hair in my burger. I will not be returning... I think Ted's is way better!!!
The Burger was delicious, but the French fries were simply not enough for me. Great atmosphere inside I just want there to be value to my whole meal. Cheers
Why did you change your French fries?!?? They were so good before. Now they are those terrible coated fries that everyone has around here.
