Called in recently after a few years away. I'll be kind and review the meal as OK. Nothing terrible, but perhaps not what it used to be. The point of my review is because no-one on here is mentioning that the restaurant does not serve alcohol. There was no signage outside, on the door, when you arrive or when you're given the menu. There is an off-licence a few doors down, but that's not the point. You may not be concerned about this, but for some people it's a part of the meal (and a pretty good revenue stream for the business so perhaps this is a religious thing? Now you know.
First customers in, we were a group of 6 and had a mix of starters and mains and everything was quiet as everyone enjoyed the delicious food. Buckwrata parcels were crispy and moist, sheek kebab, lamb chops, shashlik kebabs all slightly spicy but not too hot. Murg, Archari and Tikka balti all piping hot and tasty with an assortment of breads and more starters lamb chops and chicken tikka.
We visited on a fairly quiet early Saturday evening and were very impressed. Friendly welcoming service and very tasty food, from the popadoms and dips through to chicken wings for a starter then a mix grill and balti chicken madras with great naans and rice on the side. Shame it isn’t licensed any more but not a big issue, and the food was great and we will return. Highly recommended!
A warm cosy place with friendly welcoming staff. We had kebabs, grilled chicken pieces, samosas and onions bajis as starters. Then for the main meal we had lamb, chicken and dal curries which we shared, eaten with warm nans. All excellent freshly cooked food. Plenty of parking space on the side roads

Highly recommend this place , real authentic curries, some lovely tasty starters , goats cheese parcel and nachos with all the toppings are a must ! All food well presented and served hot . Friendly knowledgeable staff .
Attended the restaurant for a works do. I’m not a fan of Asian food at all but the staff were very accommodating to my dietary needs and helped me choose a dish which I could eat and it was delicious.
We are long-standing customers. The restaurant continues to serve quality food at reasonable prices. Always a pleasure to see the friendly staff.
Delicious food, great staff. You can bring your own alcohol. There is an off licence close by. We had a range of dishes and all tasted lovely.

We came out to celebrate our son’s 16th birthday. Sizzlers were spot on… and the mains were great. Nice ambience and great service
Amazing authentic food and fantastic, friendly staff plud service. A must visit. Brilliant family restaurant.
