Food was excellent, I had the Mater Challaw for main and Firnee for desert. Both were incredible, you can tell the food is a homemade recipe and was prepared with love and attention to detail. Lamb fell apart and was perfectly cooked. Easily joined the clean plate club. Service was perfect, as a European I love that all the servers are keen to make sure you are well looked after rather than the traditional American style of you can only speak to the server assigned to you. All staff are warm, knowledgeable on the dishes and your glass is never left empty. Perfect. Two of us had dinner here. We were seated immediately. The menu is classic and extensive but that may not be a good thing. Our Bolani was greasy and only cooked on one side side and not great. But it was an example of close but not on point dishes. Service was good. Food came out fast. Just wish the flavors and quality went up a notch. Delicious halal traditional Afghani food. Our dishes were juicy and tender and we would frequent Kabul when we worked in the area.
