Dinner with my family We ordered: 1. miso soup for kids 2. Eel roll with no veggie for kids 3. Takoyaki for kids 4. Sashimi Moriawase for the dad 5. Custom made roll for me: eel or shrimp roll with slices of avocado and imitation crab meat on top, sprinkled over with toasted crisp panko crumbs and drizzled with two sauces that?s spicy and sweet 6. We ordered the agedashi tofu $7) miso ramen $13), and tonkotsu ramen $13). The agedashi was missing the katsuo bonito) flakes so it was bland. Both ramens had overcooked, under seasoned chashu and eggs. Miso broth was average, Tonkotsu broth was weak. Ramen noodle were not stirred when cooked so there were some clumpy noodle balls in the bowls. We were hoping it would be a good spot but they have a long way to go!
Haven?t had the chance to try this spot out until tonight, and we have definitely found our new local sushi stop! We came for a quiet birthday dinner and were pleasantly surprised with the utmost phenomenal/personable guest service. The owner Brian, his prodigy Willam, and the lovely Tina were exceptional. Some of the best sushi we?ve had!
Cool atmosphere, kind staff, and great food. We stopped here for a few small plates one evening and it was fantastic. Our server was super nice and they served some great takoyaki. They had some good appetizer sushi deals going on and they all tasted amazing.
