we're here for the birthday dinner of my best friends. we often came here because the atmosphere is great and that was always good. unfortunately we will not be back again. everything is very expensive for the portion sizes they give them, and the service was extremely slow. we had the sunberry martini, which is in a small glass for $11. we ordered another and we waited almost 40 minutes when we decided to say our waitress to quit. our server did not stop at the hibatchi often so that we needed most of the time that needed to be able to get them. the last stray was when our food was cooked. we ordered the kabuto deluxe that comes with the three choices. we rarely ordered our steak medium and...
I have ordered takeout from Kabuto several times over the past year. Their online ordering system allows you to place orders in advance for pick-up at a designated time. While I enjoy their food, the service has been inconsistent. The sushi rolls are delicious, unique, and reasonably priced, which is why I keep returning. I highly recommend their specialty rolls, such as the lasagna roll and ocean roll. The Oshizushi roll, a pressed style not commonly found, is also worth trying. My experience at this restaurant was terrible. They told me the last call was at 8:30, but when I arrived 15 minutes early, they hesitated to seat us even though we were just a party of two. I ordered shrimp tempura, but they brought me a vegetable tempura instead and scolded me for not being clear in my order. They added a 17% tip to the bill, even though the menu stated that a tip would only be added for parties of 6 or more. I always tip well, even tipping the cook before receiving the bill, but I was not happy to be forced into tipping. Additionally, a bug crawled on the table while we were eating. Have ordered from here over 10x and highly suggest the takeout. Sushi is some of the best around. I would no longer dine in after my experience tonight. Found hair in food that clearly came from bartender without hairnet behind where sushi was made. Remade item but told that the sushi chef wears a hat and it couldn’t have come from them as this hair is kinda long … Also was charged an extra $2 for Veg wontons as opposed to pork even though difference was not noted on menu. We recently celebrated the birthdays of our two grandchildren, aged 8 and 9, at this restaurant. They had been there before and requested to go back. When we arrived in the early evening, the atmosphere was peaceful and we were promptly seated. Our table cook was kind and kept our young ones entertained throughout the meal. The food was delicious and served in generous portions, enough for us to take leftovers home for another meal. We had a great experience and will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Birthday dinner for (2) grandchildren 8 and 9 yr.olds. They have been there before and requested we go back again. We arrived early evening and it was quiet and we were seated right away. The table side chef that we had was very nice and entertained our boys all thru dinner. The food was very good and plentiful, and we took home enough for a another meal. We will be returning again.
We came here for a surprise birthday party and were pleasantly surprised. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The Hibachi cook was entertaining and performed many tricks that delighted the children. However, I wasn't a fan of the noodles. The drinks were a little weak, but still tasty. We will definitely be back to celebrate special occasions.

I came to the restaurant on my birthday to have some drinks and appetizers. The scorpion bowl was delicious! We also tried the sushi special of the day and were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was great and peaceful.
