Fantastic restaurant located near Cooksville of Mississauga. I was surprised to find this place located where it is, with how lovely this place looks and the unique food options i would expect to see it in the Square One area. Nonetheless, my friends and i went for a birthday brunch on a Saturday around 1pm. When we walked in we were surprised to find an empty restaurant filled with trendy furniture, decor and giant beautiful windows giving the place natural lighting. awesome fusion restaurant. Peruvian Japanese gōōd eats prices were competitive and portions were ample and presented in such a way to facilitate sharing. Some cultures call them tapas, cutters, bocas, botanas, izakaya etc... KAGE (not pronounced 'cage ' as my brother had to correct me! uses a lot of ingredients found in South America, prepared using traditional Japanese techniques. I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful when we needed recommendations. The dishes were unique and unlike anything I've tried before, which was a pleasant surprise. The drink menu was also impressive, with some distinctive options that were equally delicious. The interior of the restaurant was well-organized and the atmosphere was fantastic, with great background music. I'm happy to have discovered this place and will definitely be returning in the future.
Wow! A hidden gem in Mississauga. The food, the atmosphere, the service... They nailed everything. The tapas style menu is great. It allowed us to try several excellent menu items and get some variety. My girlfriend and I ordered 4 dished which was the perfect amount. We got seafood, chicken, sliders, sushi... so much variety. I went to this restaurant for dinner tonight and the food and service were both amazing! Every dish we ordered was well-balanced in flavors, made with high-quality ingredients, and prepared perfectly. Our server, Suzanna, was very attentive and provided excellent service. We will definitely be coming back!
Although the menu sounds interesting, the direction was far from satisfactory and the dishes we tried were average and did not correspond to expectations. the kevich was not authentic Peruvian, oktopus was hard, steak was chewing. great service and beautiful ambiente, but would not recommend for eating.
Excited to now have delicious Japanese and South American fusion food in Mississauga. Loved the beef tataki and tuna tiradito. Every dish was unique and flavourful. Very friendly staff as well. Will definitely visit again.
