Fantastic food and friendly service! My wife enjoyed their Chicken Entrée and I went for the ultimate combo of Chicken, Steak, and Shrimp, served with rice and cooked cabbage. The seasonings are incredible! I asked for spicy food since I love heat, and they truly delivered—it was perfectly spicy and addictive! I’ll definitely be coming back here after I explore more of this lovely town of Tahlequah. The prices are very reasonable, too. They also have a netted tent to keep flies away, provide shade with a fan, and allow for good air circulation.
I really dislike having to share this, but I want to recount my first experience at Kagumi in Tahlequah. I ordered steak and chicken, but ended up only receiving the chicken after spending nearly $20 for just one meal. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. I had high expectations for this place. However, the owner did offer to replace my order and make things right, which shows great customer service. On a positive note, the food is genuinely delicious.
Absolutely delicious! We ordered the steak and chicken combos, and each box had plenty of food. The quality of the dishes matches the price. The steak was incredibly tender and juicy, and the chicken was just as good. Everything was bursting with flavor. We also tried the sukiyaki, which was juicy and packed with taste! The spring rolls and dumplings were crispy and delightful. We will definitely be returning!
I was looking forward to trying this place for dinner after work, but I have to admit I was disappointed. The quality and portion sizes simply don't justify the high prices. My steak and shrimp combo had very little meat, hardly any vegetables, and an excessive amount of fried rice. The beef and shrimp tasted old, and nothing felt fresh. This place specializes in Japanese hibachi and doesn’t offer pho, as the noodle truck has shut down. It’s a charming little spot! The fried rice didn’t come with vegetables, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s some of the best in town. The prices are reasonable, and the wait time is decent too. I would definitely recommend it!
I absolutely love the food at this restaurant, which is why my family and I spend a lot of money there. However, I'm quite frustrated with how my calls have been ignored when trying to place an order. If you aren’t open until 8 PM, then it’s misleading to state that you close at that time.
One of my favorite places to eat when I lived in Tahlequah. The spring rolls are addictive. I always got their hibachi chicken, which has giant portions, great for leftovers.
