After 20 years of visiting kamrans I'm sad to say I won't be returning. I popped in to get a menu as I hadn't been for a while and the staff greeted me as they know me. I said I'd be ringing a big order through. We ordered 4 Main courses, rice, sides etc and collected. The prices have gone up but we thought ok it's worth it for a decent meal. All four mains had problems. The pathia was just watery tomatoes with little bits of lamb. It didn't taste of anything, the lamb Balti had a big rectangle congealed jelly like substance at the bottom (definitely not a tomato as I was later told), tikka lamb was bitty and gristley. I ordered from here today it was vile as hell! Sugary curries n naan bread like wth! Overcharged us then said we’re lying ! 25ywata experience he says serving English people! His exact words so if u want thrown you’re food in bin and be sick! Don’t order from here unpleasant staff! I hope karma bites the hell out of you! Wasted my hard working money!! And without food!
We have used Kamrans for years but there seems to have been a change of management recently. You used to get free popadoms and free coffee but not any more. It used to be outstanding value. Now there seems to be very little to make it stand out from all the other curry houses in Lye.

Very friendly staff, fabulous good, very obliging and will adapt recipes to individuals needs. Do low fat curries.
The best Indian restaurant there is. Used for over 20 years. Staff are awesome. Highly recommend.
