We have over the last 30 years been quite often to the Kardy Tavern and have always enjoyed the food, the main reason people went there was for their salad bar it was one of the best around and a very large selection of salads I was very disappointed with the salad bar as most of our guest were, not the standard that the hotel has been known for, I am glad I did not just have the salad bar as I would have gone home hungry as what I took I did not eat. Hope you improve the salad bar. Out of the 20 persons only one meal was not eaten as it was not very nice.
Came along with family on Sunday Staff where cheery and friendly. Ordered kids menu and the chalkboard special. The help yourself salad bar was ok. I have dined before and salad bar had more of a variety. It was still adequate and fresh. With accompanied condiments. Food came in no time . Kids menu of fish chips was plentiful. My special was a big serve. Sausage was huge and local so it was very nice. Mash oki. Slight lumps. The red wine caramelized ju in onion was a nice combo. Over all happy.
The waitress who served us had either a bad day or just a bad attitude. She refused our request to taste a beer (commonplace everywhere else), did not provide any information on specials and when paying by card, requested cash because the card machine was somewhere else. After that, we paid $12.50 for a oint of 150 Lashes, easily the most expensive in Perth. Look at the clientelle and the surrounds, they should not be charging boutique prices. Never again Kardy, goodbye.
went for tea to catch up with a family member , went to the bar it was dirty, floor was a mess ,full of dero's , so we moved to the bistro it was just about empty no one in there not a good sign at 0730 . Food was ok . we where have drinks after tea about 1000 we went to the bar and the manager had taken the tills no last drinks where called and that was it .........

Very disappointed with the quality of the food. Paid $54 for Caesar salad (average, can't really mess up a salad), waygu burger (horrible, greasy, flavourless), and onion rings (undercooked, thickly sliced onion inside, disgusting). By far the worst $54 I have ever spent. Should've just gone to subway or something for a quick fix.
The grandkids wanted karaoke, we all needed feeding, where to go? The Kardy of course. The food is honest pub grub with a better than average pub salad bar. The karaoke is open to all so up we got and sang our hearts out. A good fun night out. Thanks Kardy.
Pretty average and over priced. Basic pub grub. Ceasar salad was good. Steak medium rare overcooked being well done. Curry pie special ok. Chicken Alfredo was ok. Plenty other places to eat....disappointed
A good value tavern with a nice variety of main meals to choose from. Salad bar needs a little work as not a lot of choice.

The Kardinya is a family restaurant with a good atmosphere the food is tasty with a good range of to choose from.
