We loved the look of the restaurant. The service started off good but as soon as I explained that my wife was put on a strict gluten free diet because of her health issue with gluten, I seen the lady serving us change her facial expressions at once to a very impatient, angry look!! From then on we had been rushed and ignored. And my wife was left not knowing what she could safely eat on the menu!! We just had drinks and left. I would not recommend this place to someone with special dietary needs. As long as you order something they don't have to take special care with, they will be happy.

Ein gehobenes Restaurant. Sehr gutes schmackhaftes Essen. Schöne Außenterasse mit Blick in die Landesgartenschau, Blumen, Wald, Wasserspiele. Täglich auch leckeren Kuchen und guten Kaffee. Das Spargelgericht mit dem Westfälischen Schinken, einfach köstlich. An upscale restaurant. Very good tasty food. Beautiful outdoor terrace with a view of the State Horticultural Show, flowers, forest, water features. Delicious cakes and good coffee every day. The asparagus dish with Westphalian ham, simply delicious.

The food served was aimed at an upmarket clientele but failed to deliver. It looked it like the food wanted to be something it simply wasn't. Staff asked us how the food was but did not seem to care after it was calmly explained to here what portions of the 4 course meal were great and which weren't. A shame really. The atmosphere was really nice inside and outside. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. Overall an average experience.

I share the feeling of Klaus. This place has a bored personnel and absolute Zero „Der Kunde ist König“ Feeling! I don’t come back again.
