Kartathai is a charming Thai restaurant located on Como Ave, surrounded by other popular establishments. Despite the competition, the food at Kartathai is both unique and well-prepared, making it a standout in the local dining scene. I ordered the drunken noodles, which were a bit drier than I expected, but the texture of the noodles was perfect and the flavors were delicious. My dining companions who tried the curry were extremely impressed and said it was the best they had ever tasted in the area. Overall, I would recommend Kartathai for a satisfying Thai meal in a cozy neighborhood setting.
I typically only write positive reviews, but I believe this feedback could benefit both the restaurant and its customers. When asked to choose a spiciness level between 1 and 5, we requested level 1. It is important for a restaurant to understand that some individuals do not desire any spiciness in their dish. If a customer specifies the lowest heat level, the restaurant should be cautious and avoid adding anything that could make the dish spicy. It is worth mentioning that both dishes we ordered at level 1 heat were unexpectedly spicy. Be aware of this when ordering from this restaurant.
Gotta say I am impressed. I just ordered delivery(currently eating and felt the need to review). Their food still came hot. I could smell the soft shell crab dish from the bag, which was a great sign. Their beef jerky was nice and tender. And then lastly, the papaya salad was actually really great! I didn’t expect it. I usually have good flavored papaya where it’s drenched in sauce, which is good. But this was a nice, smooth, mild but still flavorful sauce which was just excellent! Thank you.

Pad Thai is very traditional American style and is not my #1 but tasted great. Pad see lew was really flavorful and all the ingredients tasted fresh. Everything was great and still hot despite a third party delivery! Can’t wait to try more of their dishes.

I have take-out on the look for pad thai and kokosnuss curry the pad thai was over disappointing. our noodles were pink that tasted like sweet and sour sauce and the toppings were hardly there. I didn't know what we saw! the curry was in order, but if I am Thai, I will not try this place again. we have favorited another one that is closed on Mondays, but we have tried. next time we'll keep out
At Karta Thai, I ordered the shrimp Pad Thai, which came with only 4-5 shrimp. The noodles were over-seasoned, making them sticky and soggy to eat. I also wished the dish included more vegetables. The menu could benefit from offering more balanced options.
Neighborhood Thai restaurant where you can eat in or get takeout. They also do curbside delivery. I love their Pad Thai, chicken satay, spring rolls and sticky rice. They also have a full bar. Highly recommend!

What an underrated hidden place! Best spring rolls ever...loved the sweet rice/mango dessert. Everyone got the pad thai...warning:super spicy even at level two.
Y'all, get more food from here. Keep them in business. This food is straight bussin' sheesh.
