Although it is not nice, the food is good and wait staff is quite friendly. Both lunch and dinner make this an affordable place to enjoy both sushi and bentoboxes. They are also aware of food allergy and have assured us every time that they use separate utensils as well as cookware. It's a place to go for a special treat for lunch, especially because it never gets too crazy.
I've yet to find a better sushi restaurant than this one, despite trying several others both in the city and out of state. The service is fantastic, and the food is outstanding. The location is cozy and inviting. I often bring friends and family with me, and I've never been disappointed. Karuta Japanese Restaurant is simply the best. My family and I absolutely love it!

Excellent Japanese cuisine! The service is outstanding and the prices are very reasonable. I usually go for the sushi (which they recently adjusted the prices for), but the Teriyaki and Shumai were also delicious.
Really enjoy the sushi here. It's a hole in the wall, but the quality is fantastic and the staff is wonderful.
