Unfortunately after not visiting for around 3 years we were extremely let down. We ordered takeaway tonight for the drive ins. Food was tasteless. Big pieces of obviously pre frozen chicken and then thawed out watered down the sauce once mixed with our rice and and therefore we felt like we were just eating plain chicken and rice. Major let down. Chicken tasted frozen like you get in the gym meals. Not nice at all. Garlic Naan was not garlic naan. It would of had around 1 dab of a garlic paste in the middle and that was it. We actually thought they gave us plain naan by mistake until I unrolled the naan bread. All in all seeing as the prices have gone up, which I understand, the food quality...
There's a reason this family run restaurant has been around for well over a decade! After taking over a gym close by, we were looking for somewhere that had 'healthy' food, and after some research on instagram I came across Kastury's. On first glance, it looks like just an Indian restaurant, and while the curries, naans etc are amazing, we were so happy to find a place where we knew we could get great smoothies, salads and protein balls. The owner Vanitha has an incredible passion for food and that really shows in the food. Highly recommend!
Okay, at first glance, the place looks like a Coffee Bar... Don't be mistaken, there is some magic happening in the Kitchen.If you're in the Beenleigh area on the Gold Coast, and looking for a VERY tasty meal, I can recommend this to you.Kastury came from the Grandmother / Mother who passed her recipes down thru the line (as per tradition). The food is fresh, spicy and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Nann, the Kastury Beef, and Jeera rice. MAGNIFICENT. Finish with their Mango Ice-cream...simply brilliant.
This is great restaurant. The food is great and the Chef and her husband are just so friendly. The only downside of this restaurant is that unfortunately they don't get passing trade because the Council closed the end of the road and in so doing cut this restaurant off from the centre of town. I've eaten here a few times. I was used to Westernised Indian food court style so this was really a unique experience for me. Now that I've gained a taste for authentic Indian cuisine there's no going back! The Hari Chicken is my favourite!
It is not often that you find a restaurant that dedicates itself to 'real' food that is healthy and tastes amazing. The passion of the chef and owner Vanitha shows in the fabulous food. Looking forward to going back!
Good food excellent service. We worth giving the place a go. Large selection from the Indian menu the beef vindaloo was spot on as where the curry puffs. We will be going here again.
Coffee was way too hot tasted milky and i asked for an extra shot which equates to only two shots for a medium cup.so still very weak. Not going back Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Probably one of the best places I've been to for Indian food. Very fresh and high quality. You can taste the difference.
