Outdoor patio dining provides a gorgeous view of the Sunset strip with music the Ambiance is definitely welcoming and assuring you your are in what the best of California Dining is all about . They serve the finest high quality cuts of fish and steak. They serve a beautiful sea bass that is not on the menu . I definitely recommend. It's a must in dining experience . My first choice in Japanese cuisine.
I have loved katana and haven’t been in over years! The waiter was amazing, he was so on top of it and very friendly. Now the food; the quality of food they serve and the portions have totally changed. The spicy tuna tastes like cardboard, the yellowtail jalapeño was drenched in sauce and tasted SO fishy. The soufflé was ok, alcohol drinks were super weak and I’ve priced. Our bill was Over Overall poor quality of food, you’re paying for the name on sunset. Go to the bar and order your drinks direct from the bartender, skip the food. I will not be Back
This experience was amazing, stars because all the servers were diligent and attentive. We never had to call for a server when out drinks were done because they would be there right away. The food portion was small but it made up in flavor. The lamb was to die for ! The popcorn chicken and meat skewers were also flavorful. All the food was great no complaints ! will definitely be back
Warm Atmosphere and great Service! The Sea bass Miso Popcorn alternative for Shrimp was delicious!! The Spicy Tuna.. Amazing!! The Kosher Lambs (Really Tasty) made kind of no sense next to the smashed potatoes since it’s made with butter. Just keep that in mind if you’re looking for a full kosher meal. Thanks for the desert on the house! delicious homemade flan as well

Very underwhelming experience, nothing was great. We ordered ceviche, a rainbow roll and the short ribs. Of those items the short ribs were best. My friend also ordered a hot green tea and she actually had to send it back because it had such a weird flavor and it seem like that was not the waiters first time hearing that.
Beautiful building/interior. Heat lamps by the tables outside. Good sushi, tasted fresh. Loved the eggplant app. Good service. Lots of steps to get up to the restaurant, I don't know if they have an elevator available. We ate dinner outside and it was a vibe, and nice to enjoy the LA scenery.
Food was cold. The “feast” had one roll and it was a tempura shrimp roll. Tasted like it was sitting around. The help tried to push their specialty cocktails too many times. Couple years ago I loved this place. Very disappointing
The food was exquisite, better than I remember . The service by Clairesse (spelling and staff was extraordinary and the maitre’d by Kristin was unforgettable! Thank you all
