I enjoyed a delicious meal at this café, where the home-cooked food is offered at fantastic prices. For lunch, I had the steak pie, chips, and mushy peas, all paired with freshly made mint sauce, prepared and served by Katy, the owner and chef. The menu is impressive, boasting a wide variety of choices and a daily special, along with homemade desserts. Katy also serves a full English breakfast and hot sandwiches, opening early for those. On Sundays, she offers a traditional Sunday lunch for just £5.00, available for dine-in or takeaway, which has become quite popular.
