Kawartha Dairy in Bobcaygeon ON produces a variety of ice creams, and sells it in small retail shops in most parts of Southern Ontario. In Lindsay, one must eat the cone at a weathered table outside. In Orillia, where business is brisker, the KL building...has seating inside and out, and a goodly variety of non-ice cream food such as honey and jams. If I had to choose between Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream and the wonderful Chapman's, which also is sold all over CKL and throughout Ontario, I might give a slight edge to the latter.
Don't bother with dessert at the restaurant, head over here for some delicious ice cream instead. You can enjoy your treat outside while people-watching. I chose a classic rum raisin flavor, but there are so many options to choose from, it can be hard to decide.
The Kawartha Dairy has the most amazing selection of ice cream flavours. Moose Tracks is my absolute favorite! Friendly staff, reasonable prices, great portions! Always guaranteed a true brain freeze!

The pandemic is just a ride. The service was fast, efficient and we received what we ordered. The waffles were not broken, the staff was friendly and the transitions were contactless.
This is one of the best ice creams I've ever tasted. It has the authentic flavor of homemade ice cream. Definitely worth trying.
