After a house move a kebab should do the trick and confidently I went to this clean looking well presented kebab-hut in a prime location on Fitzroy street, St Kilda. Despite clearly ordering chips for 3 people I received a serve of soggy barely cooked through chips, enough for 1 hungry person. The salad was a in a small plastic container and upon opening we thought we could smell the pesticides used. The mayonnaise (sauces in general in this establishment) looked like wallpaper glue and tasted similar to this. This is truly a miss in all the departments and with that many eateries around save your money and walk 25 meter further down Fitzroy street Enjoy your Fish & chips !
I'm a frequent Kabab eater & when this place opened in St Kilda I rated them "best in St Kilda". Then over about a 6 month period it changed. They started using short, chunky cut red onion in place of thinly sliced brown/white onion & their lamb went from being succulent pieces of beautiful meat to really chewy ****. Not sure what happened! Obviously using cheaper produce etc. Anyway, I can't go back unless they make a statement here that that have changed. Very sad as it was my local Service has always been very good.
This is the most disgusting kebab I've ever seen. Food was delivered after waiting an hour, covered in grease, oil and freezing cold, there were also hairs through out the kebabs. We ordered large chips, there wasn't enough to feed one person, never mind three. I called to complain, I was hung up on; I even messaged to resolve and I was ignored and told I'd not receive a refund. Have sent the pics to health and safety, and id avoid this place at all costs. You only have to look at the pictures to see it's disgusting.
I came here for what I assumed would be a quick take away. I placed my order for a kebab and was told after I paid it would be a 20-30 minute wait. Next thing, the guy who took my order and took cash, put on disposable gloves to handle food, only to then handle the phone ringing and took money out of the till with the gloves and then handle food again with the same gloves. The hygiene here is horrendous, dips old and had gone stale, kebab was cold.

I had been advised to try this kebab shop a couple of times before finally trying the place on my last night in Melbourne. Without a doubt the best kebab I have ever eaten. I had a mixed kebab which was delicious and chips which were perfectly seasoned. There is no wonder that this place is so popular amongst local residents. Strongly recommend.
Had a couple of late night feeds here - food is really good - and not expensive. Can get takeaway if you're looking to relax at your hotel or apartment after a long day.
No words! The chicken kebab was awful, worst kebab in my life. It was greasier then a bottle a olive oil and tasted like nothing. Best HSP rating?????
Come in at 7pm. Place is quiet so no excuses for having to rush. But still served up raw chips and a cold kebab. Stay away. Very ordinary food

Horrible. Soggy chips. Fish was with thick mushy batter. One piece of tomato on our kebabs and garlic sauce with no flavour.
Horrendous state of the bathrooms - so disgusting. Makes me wonder how they clean the restaurant - or even if they do...
