LUNCHES. I have lunched here on two occasions recently and have enjoyed the service, the food, the whole ambience of the place. The first time was a birthday lunch with friends and I had a main meal (Chicken Parmagana). The serving was enormous was well cooked and delicious. The second time was last week for a quick lunch after I had bought a few items in the gift shop. As I didn't have much time, I ordered a Bruchetta and coffee and it was served within 10 minutes. Coffee was hot and good.... Bruchetta was a disappointment though just half a sub roll with slices of tomato and avocado... overpriced for what it was.
The outdoor area of Kelly 's is a great place to relax and have a meal on a warm day. The staff are quite friendly here, but it took them two or three goes to get the right plates to the right people. We kept saying, 'nope, we didn 't order that! ' In the end one of our meals went to another table and we had to wait for another one to come out. The manager (I think? was apologetic and really nice about it though. <br/ <br/ The meals are a bit overpriced for what you get. But the food was fresh, and it 's a nice place to go once in a while. I 'd return.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, but the menu leaves something to be desired. Lunch can be pricey, around $25 on average, especially considering the food is more like typical pub fare. They try to make up for it with an abundance of fries as side dishes. I ordered chai tea hoping for a cozy, soothing drink but was disappointed to receive a teapot with a Twinings Tea Bag on the side. If they offered more budget-friendly lunch choices and daily specials, they could attract more customers and grow their business.
My friend and I went for breakfast at this restaurant. There were nice and quiet seating options both inside and outside. The menu had a variety of options to choose from. We ordered the poached eggs breakfast along with coffee. The service was quick and efficient, and our breakfast was presented nicely by a friendly waitress. This is the 2nd visit to Kelly's Cafe.A group of 13 of us came to celebrate my lovely sister (in law) Vikki's birthday The food was lovely, fresh, reasonably priced and well presented. Everyone enjoyed their meal.Staff, especially management were really lovely. Amenities were clean.Loved the fact it is BYOWill definitely be returning a 3rd time..
A great breaky at Kelly's Cafe. We had the eggs bene with ham and breakfast brushetta (bacon, tomato, cream cheese and pesto on garlic bread. Everything was nice but the mega lattes did us in and we had to grab a takeaway cup.
I frequent this restaurant often to meet up with friends, and it never fails to impress! The food is delicious, the portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the garden view is beautiful. Such a lovely place!
