We purchase regularly from here via JustEat and have done since the beginning of Lockdown. We haven’t been to the cafe itself so cannot comment on anything in relation to the actual setting but are yet to be disappointed! Food always arrives within the estimated...timescale and hot and cold food is separated well. Portions are always more than adequate and food quality is superb. A personal favourite in our house is the Macaroni Cheese and the Mexican chicken panini. My only comment would be that anytime we have ordered the 1 person buffet it always comes with either Cheese or Cheese and Ham this is absolutely fine and I understand it is pot luck but a little more variety would be nice or an...
We have eaten breakfast twice at the Kelpies cafe in the last two weeks. I visited on the advice of my daughter. The cafe is bright and very clean, we had fresh made sausage on rolls and also bacon on toast with eggs. Lovely mug...of tea and delicious coffees. The staff were friendly and helpful. Toilets spotless. If you are walking or cycling the towpaths I would advise you to stop here and enjoy good food at lower prices than the Helix offers. It’s on the corner of an industrial estate but has parking and is only a short walk from the Helix and the Kelpies. I am sure we will be back again and again. Thank you.
I visited the Kelpies Cafe one afternoon. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I had my uncle with me who is disabled and the staff were really good. My uncle had something to eat and we both had a drink. When we went to...pay we couldn’t believe the price. It was cheaper than going to well known cafes. I went back the following day and a member of staff recognised me from the day before. I had something to eat. The food was great. The cafe was clean and well looked after.
I went in today (26/06/19) with my best friend. I was really pleased how clean it was and got the best of service. The food was excellent, I only had a toastier and a juice but there was plenty of filling, most definitely value for...money. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re out that way. A well presented vegan option was very tasty, only criticism was that the jacket was hard in places, not to the point of cooking but mostly on the quality of the potato as even when placed in the microwave it was... still hard in places. Will be a good choice for vegan options.
The staff is pleasant and helpful. Food is fresh, tasty and cheap! We often don't have a scenic location there but great for us as we can walk to the cafe from the canal bridge at Castle 4. Outdoor tables and umbrellas. Needs a visit...More
Having visited Kelpies night before decided to have lunch there next day. Excellent menu all cooked on premises and staff brilliantly helpful. Good helpings of very tasty food. Highly recommended and will be back.
I think some folk get this place confused, this cafe is in Middlefield industrial estate, and not at The Kelpies'. Use it quite a lot after going for a walk, Great Soup and cake....was there today

My mum loves Kelpies cafe as she lives nearby so easy walk. Great food inexpensive and staff are very friendly and helpful. Very obliging. Worth a visit and return trip!
Really enjoyed my lunch. There's good food a good atmosphere and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Great to see them instantly assist a disabled gent when I arrived.
